Privacy
The short version: the calculator never sends what you type anywhere, Cloudflare counts page views without cookies, and Google Analytics runs only if you allow it.
Calculations
Every calculation runs entirely in your browser. The calculator never sends the values you enter anywhere and never saves them; there is no backend to receive them. They do appear in the page address, so that a link can reopen your calculation: opening or reloading such a link sends that address to our host, like any page address. If you use Share, the URL you copy carries the numbers; that is you sending them, not us.
Cookies
Cloudflare Web Analytics sets no cookies; Google Analytics sets cookies only after you choose Allow. Your theme choice, currency preference and your answer to the analytics question are kept in your browser's local storage, which is not a cookie and is never sent anywhere.
If you allow analytics, Google Analytics 4 sets _ga and _ga_<id> cookies, which last up to two years (Google's default), to count returning visitors. Decline, and the Google Analytics script is never requested at all — not loaded and disabled, simply never fetched.
What analytics would collect
Cloudflare Web Analytics runs on every visit, with or without consent, because there is nothing to opt out of: it is cookieless and stores nothing on your device. It counts page views and records the referrer, country, browser and device type. It does not read the calculator's fields. It is served by Cloudflare, which hosts this site.
With consent, Google Analytics records which pages are viewed, how they are used (scrolling, downloads, links followed to other sites), and coarse location and device information. The page address it receives has the calculator's values removed, so it never sees the numbers you entered. We use it to see which calculators are worth improving.
Changing your mind
Use the button below to clear your stored choice; the consent question reappears at the foot of this page, and your next answer is saved in its place. Clearing this site's data in your browser does the same. If you allowed analytics and now decline, Google Analytics is not requested from your next page load; cookies Google already set remain until they expire or you delete them in your browser.
Third parties
Pages with affiliate links may set cookies on the destination site once you click through — that is their processing, under their policy. The links are labelled before you click. See the disclaimer.
